I don’t have a straight answer to where I’m from.

Born in Japan to a half French-Vietnamese father and a Malaysian-Singaporean mother, raised mostly in Singapore, now living in Canada.

I’m Chris. I run Growth at NationGraph in Toronto. I used to host events at 555 in Montreal, bringing together people with all kinds of curiosities.

Before that I was a VC investor at Panache Ventures, an early-stage fund backing pre-seed and seed Canadian-rooted startups.

I also spent two years in the Singapore Military, attached to the Singapore Artillery as a motor transport operator and an emergency ambulance operator.

When I’m not obsessing over startups I’m training BJJ (purple belt, somehow still addicted), logging miles for a marathon, supporting Chelsea through another season, buying soccer cards, or geeking out over watches.
